Frequently Asked Questions
At Ace’s Place, we are a dispensary focused on providing our customers with both high quality cannabis products, and the most relevant information about consumption and understanding the legal marijuana industry in Colorado.
Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a novice cannabis user, you are bound to have some questions about the ever-changing aspects of the marijuana industry in Colorado. Below are a variety of topics that our customers tend to have questions about. If there is anything we have not covered here please feel free to give us a call, send an email, or stop by the dispensary. Our experienced budtenders and staff are here to help.
Edibles
Start slow and see how you feel, as edibles can take 1-4 hours to take effect. Pay attention to dosage so you can take the right amount for yourself. In Colorado, one serving = 10mg (really, take it slow!) Don’t eat them on an empty stomach, and stay hydrated; they are best ingested after a meal. Remember, the effects of an edible can last up to 4-6 hours.
Concentrates
There are many types of concentrates available, but our budtenders will help you choose the right one. Exercise caution, as they are much more potent than flower. Start slow.
Flower Potency
Don’t be fooled by potency results, cannabis affects everyone differently. Based on terpenes and strains, the effects vary, and our budtenders will help you find the right strain based off what you’re looking for during your visit with us.
CBD
CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is a cannabis compound that has significant medical benefits. CBD-rich cannabis is less psychoactive than THC-dominant cannabis strains. It provides an appealing option for patients seeking relief from pain, inflammation, anxiety, seizures, spasms, and many other conditions.
